About Kanwaljit Kaur

Kanwaljit is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a master’s degree in nursing from Chamberlain University. She has over twenty years of experience in direct patient care, having worked as a registered nurse at Sibley Memorial Johns Hopkins Medicine and as a certified peritoneal dialysis nurse at Fresenius Kidney Care. Specializing in weight management, she focuses on addressing obesity as a key factor behind various chronic medical conditions and aims to assist patients in maintaining healthy lifestyles. Prior to joining the Nova Physician’s Wellness Center, she served as a nurse practitioner in primary care settings and CVS' Minute Clinic. Kanwaljit has resided in northern Virginia for nearly 25 years with her husband and two children. In her leisure time, she enjoys cooking, music, and spending time with family and friends.
