Sheela Venkatesan, Senior Nutritionist MS, BCS, CHC
Sheela is a Clinical Nutritionist and Behavior Change Specialist with NPWC. She values making a personal connection with individuals, an essential for helping patients reach their health goals and sustain improvements for the long term. Sheela has worked with people of all backgrounds in both clinical and corporate settings. Sheela obtained a Masters of Science in Nutrition Education from American University, is a Certified Health Coach, a Certified Personal Trainer and leans on her specialization in Behavior Change to instill small, yet significant changes that translate into lifelong healthy behaviors for her patients.
Ashley DeGeare BS, NDTR, CHC
Ashley is a Nutrition and Dietetic Technician, Registered who has a passion for collaborating and supporting others to help guide them to reach their personal goals. She received her BS in Nutrition and Dietetics from James Madison University and is also a Certified Health Coach. With a previous background working in the mental health field, she has a working knowledge of changing behaviors long-term, managing stress and anxiety, and finding ways to move towards a less hectic yet more healthful lifestyle.
Lisa Marik, Nutrition Educator, Behavior Change Specialist & CHC
Lisa is a nutrition educator and certified health coach with 20 years experience in education and behavior change as well as extensive training and education in nutrition. She received her health coach certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York and holds additional certifications through eCornell Center for Nutrition Studies and Rouxube online Professional Culinary School as well as an MA in education from American University. Her undergraduate degree in psychology also informs her approach to sustainable behavior change toward health goals. She is completing her MS in Nutrition at George Mason University.
Melissa Zobler BS, CPT, CPSN
Melissa is a certified Personal and Sports Nutrionist with a background in health and physical education from Kean University. She has a passion for helping people change their lives by learning how to have a healthy lifestyle, with a balance of diet and exercise. Melissa has experience in counseling and designing personalized meal plans for patients of all ages.
